On Monday, the world received the best news ever, especially for those who always look up for satellites and other internet invention news. From the words of the famous satellite maker and a contributor at the leading satellite maker, Spacex, Elon Musk said the internet constellation is about to reach many people.
According to Musk on Twitter, the next stages of the SpaceX’s new internet service is about to come to life, although we shouldn’t get too excited about it.
According to Starklink’s website, it was claimed that the objective and goal of this new internet service is to offer people around Canada, Northern United States best internet experience in 2020 before it reaches other places around the globe. Elon said they dream that they’d be able to reach the entire world by 2021.
The company always stands with its famous slogan “Better than Nothing,” which they launched last month to ensure it helps them keep up with their innovation to offer users internet speeds services of above 150 megabits per second and even better, this is offered at a throwaway price of only $99 per month. For those who can afford and want to have the fastest internet, one can subscribe for a month at a one-off fee of only $499.
Elon stated that for those who’d want to pay for a monthly subscription, they’d be enjoying a better fee, which is almost double what most people pay when paying for cable and fiber connections. With this news, most people said the service would likely bring a lot of competition, which may force other service providers to reduce their charges.
However, many people still think the company isn’t bringing anything new, especially about prices because what they’re charging per month is the same charges from other companies like Viasat and HughesNet. Moreover, SpaceX still needs to do better, especially when compared with others, which offer options to rent equipment instead of less than $15 monthly charges.
What most people wanted to hear and liked about SpaceX’s invention wasn’t just about the service but how the company wanted to ensure their service will enable rural and underserved communities have a chance of getting online by just pointing a ground terminal at a clear view of the sky.
It is true that the company wants to ensure there is a better service than what people get from existing satellites. Elon said other providers make it a struggle for people because one has to ensure getting services need a lot of work, and still, underserved communities don’t benefit. According to Elon, their aim is to provide fast speed and response time to enable users to play online games and enjoy other online services.
SpaceX launched its rocket to ensure they’ve tested everything before telling the world. According to news, the company used the Falcon 9 rocket to send about sixty satellites at once. When this was done, they ensured satellites were placed in an orbit that is much closer to earth than other constellations, which placed theirs around five-hundred and fifty kilometers above ground.
The company also reported having been permitted by the government and satellite authorities to launch up to forty-two thousand satellites. Although the company faced some critics from Astronomers and many who thought their work wouldn’t succeed, its invention has tremendously expanded since it was first launched in May 2019. Elon said, despite what people think, their company is focused on achieving bigger plans and expand even further.

The company released a document in July that addressed their plans to launch a private Beta and claimed the brand offers services in places of the United States and Canada starting from 44 to 55 degrees latitude.
Come January 2021, Elon said American cities at lower latitudes should expect to receive the services. He addressed this while responding to a question asked by a fan that started that Florida was looking to hear when they’d be able to begin to enjoy Starlink services. Musk said they have not started using the service because places like that need more satellites, which means his company was still looking into that by ensuring they’ve launched more satellites.
By February and March of 2012, Elon said the good news was meant for those living in European countries. He said the company already has plans underway meant to start and run three stations in Europe.

Although many companies have tried to come up with new inventions, SpaceX needs to be celebrated for its efforts.
